The Trifid Nebula in Sagittarius is two types of nebula in one, visible by both reflected and ionized light from a nearby star cluster. The two processes acting together produce the swirling colors and shapes we see from 5,200 light years away. From the dust and gas in this cloud, new stars are always being born.

All of our prints are on archival-quality matte-finish photo paper stock. The pigment-ink printing produces an exceptionally vivid image that will last for generations. Each print is signed and dated.
The title of the print and description of the scene is printed on a card on the back. The print is independently mounted on full 3/8" Foam-Board behind a hinged matting window. Print arrives in clear-plastic protective sleeve.
